Shutter Speed

Slow shutter speed

Slow shutter speed combined with panning the camera can achieve a motion blur for moving objects. In photography, shutter speed or exposure time is the length of time a camera's shutter is open when taking a photograph. The amount of light that reaches the film or image sensor is proportional to the exposure time.

Mick Caddy

Mick Caddy Photography

Mick Caddy is a local photographer from Lancashire. He is a more Landscape Photographer and photographers wildlife in their habitats. I like the photos he takes because they are unique and he captures the life of nature like nobody else I've seen before. He takes a lot of creative shots that most people wouldn't notice. Thats what i mostly like about his photographs.

This Photo is known as 'The Kiss'

I like this picture because it shows that a lot of time has gone into it, waiting for the right shot for hours on end. Its unique and very in the moment.

Pendle

I like this photo because its just before sunset and the tree is to the right hand side of the photo which creates a more scenic shot. In a portrait it would create a thinking space with the object being to one side, however it creates an nice shot when it comes to landscape shots as well.

Ice Pebble

This is an amazing detail filled photo with the camera on a wide aperture, which allows more light to enter the photo giving it this colourful effect.
